Primary Bedroom Suite Suite Pavilion (unbuilt)

The owners of this tradition home design desired remodeling of their house to facilitate aging in place, but the Primary Bedroom Suite was located on the upper level. An elevator solution was initially explored though the desire for a new, more expansive bedroom suite was preferred. Due to the slope of the lot, the foundation for a new suite would provide space for a future apartment below, also desirable as it would provide opportunity for a live-in caregiver if ever needed. This approach was developed as seen in the images but in the end, it was the addition of an glass-enclosed vertical lift that was selected. Remodeling and addition by Krichco Construction.
