Modern Craftsman Home

Conceived as three simple volumes in relationship to one another, this Craftsman home design was created for a young family and their selected building lot in a mostly built-out neighborhood. The property is one of two lots on a short cul-de-sac. The clients enjoy the character of Craftsman style homes, along with the Asian influence from which the style was derived and refined. Though the balance of the neighborhood has a more standard builder-traditional character, the existing home across the street happens to have many Craftsman style characteristics. Thus, this short street of two homes establishes its own precinct and style within the larger neighborhood. Constructed by the Groce Building Company.
