This modern home design was created for clients desiring a thoughtful, site-specific and dynamic living environment in which to raise a family and provide an integral space for in-laws. The family arrives via an autocourt overlooked by the Kitchen/Dining area and acting as both an autocourt for the garage and an outdoor entertainment/play space The three glass garage doors glow in the evening to provide a delightful level of lighting for outdoor dining and play. A Daily Entry with lockers for each member of the family leads to a recreation/TV room and the Kitchen/Dining Area. Guests arrive via a Entry Foyer that opens onto a spacious Living Area, off of which is the private in-law suite. Each Bedroom is a suite with a bathroom and walk-in closet and there is also an Exercise Room with a fold-down wall bed for the occasional overnight guest. The Primary Bedroom Suite has a private porch with adjacent deck. Constructed by the owners with the support of Mike Dilletoso of Alternative Building Systems.
