Urban Update

This urban home was in need of thoughtful attention and an update to prepare it for many more years of family life. The new owners desire to become part of the existing community while expressing their personality and welcoming nature. Thus the exterior of the home was simplified by removing the decorative gables (see 2nd image) and introducing an inviting front porch where much of daily family life will take place. The main level will be reconfigured to provide a guest suite and the more open and interactive public spaces typical of modern life. The upper level will be refreshed to provide a central play space, three additional bedrooms and a home office
