The owners of this Harwell Hamilton Harris-designed residence had been thoughtfully renovating the home for awhile and reached a point where they were nearing completion of rejuvenating a Mid-century Modern classic. Two areas - the original Art Studio and the Main Bedroom Suite - remained to be updated to bring the home into alignment with modern standards. The former Art Studio with its angled/north-facing glass has been transformed into a Den with a gable-shaped window wall and beam structure in keeping with the original planning of the home and with Harwell's signature style. The main bedroom suite has been refined to provide a spacious closet, bathroom and bedroom area with more daylight. Remodeled by The Maplewood Building Company.
