My clients purchased this home in an established neighborhood with many Mid-century modern-era homes, though this home is one of the transitional ranch homes built in the time between Mid-century Modern and the move toward builder-style traditional homes. They desired a kitchen remodel, Primary Bedroom Suite remodel, removing walls to create more a Great Room space on the rear of the home and a general update to the interior finishes. A significant change involved the removal of the light absorbing paneling and introducing a long skylit area in the middle of the house to brighten the entirety of the Great Room.
